Planning your honeymoon and want the perfect location? It is hard work we know. Whatever time of year you're getting married we've a world guide to help you chase the sun and romance!
January - For an Oz dream head to Australia which is hot, hot, hot - and that's just the weather! Sydney is awash with colour - a vibrant city with breathtaking beaches. The Caribbean is also a sure bet with good prices to be found and quieter after the Christmas and New Year rush.
February - Be the envy of your wedding guests with a trip along the Nile. Cruisers can expect plenty of sun, yet temperatures won't be too hot for honeymoon sightseeing. Thailand with a guaranteed eight hours sunshine and stunning vistas to boot.
March - The southern Mediterranean countries such as Italy and southern Spain enjoy warm temperatures and are awash with glorious spring blossom. An African Safari is perfect around this time of year for those newlyweds looking for adventure.
April - Madeira, and Marrakech - all under five hours flying time, are fresh and warm in April. Turkey too has warmer than average Mediterranean temperatures. The Caribbean is still warm and dry but at the end of its official high season with lower prices up for grabs.
May - Florida and California are reliable and May is regarded as their 'low' season, so prices will drop too. In Europe, destinations like the Algarve, the South of France, and the Greek Islands are sunny enough for t-shirts and shorts.
June - Bali has a great climate in June - a truly magical destination that delivers on every honeymoon level! Australia's Great Barrier Reef Islands are now dry and warm. Northern Europe and the Scandinavian cities make a unique honeymoon destination with long summer days and lively midsummer festivals.
July - Where else but the hot Mediterranean? Elsewhere, the Canadian Rockies offer spectacular scenery and glorious sunshine. Long haul lovers will enjoy the Argentina winter season - an ideal time to visit, since temperatures are no longer oppressively hot.
August - Europe has its peak season in full swing so tends to be hot and pricey. Paris is surprisingly quiet at this time of year since most European tourists and Parisians head to the Med.
September - Beautiful Mauritius is simply glorious around September and the Mediterranean is cooler and without the crowds.
October - The stunning autumnal colours of New England make an appearance around this time and there's still plenty of sunshine to enjoy. Across the Orient to Hong Kong which is at its best with warm but not too humid weather.
November - Mexico has the odd rain but still basks in warm temperatures. Thailand is cooler and quieter with less humid heat.
December - Fit in a spot of Christmas shopping in sunny Dubai. It's a tolerable month too for tackling Bangkok. The Maldives is superb at this time of year but there is a humidity downside. The Kenyan coast enjoys sunshine and breezes and Morocco or Tunisia make interesting sun-based destinations for a Christmas honeymoon.
